It was the split that no one saw coming...
... not even the Long Island Medium herself.
Late last year, Theresa Caputo confirmed that she and her husband of 28 years, Larry, were putting an end to their marriage.
The joint statement released at the time was short and simple and left plenty of room for people to wonder where things went wrong.
"We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family," said Theresa and LArry, concluding:
"Please respect our privacy during this time."
For the most part, this privacy has been respected.
But Theresa and Larry are now here to take fans behind the scenes of their relationship, as TLC has released the first footage from Season 13 of Long Island Medium.
And it includes a sit-down between the exes.
Not just any sit-down, either.
But Theresa says on camera it's the first time she has "physically seen" her forner husband in nine months.
That's gotta be rather jarring when you had previously been so close to someone for nearly three decades.
At another point in this sneak peek, Theresa awakens from ACL surgery... and reacts to NOT having Larry by her side.
"It was weird waking up and Larry not being there,” she says. “But this is our new life.”
And that new life actually includes a new significant other for Larry.
“I have moved on. I’m fortunate enough to say that I have met someone special. But I’ll just leave it for that now," he previously told TMZ.
