Recent reports say that Lisa Vanderpump isn't having fun as a Real Housewife anymore.
Between reported feuds with co-stars and claims that she's refusing to film scenes with them, people have to wonder:
Is Lisa Vanderpump at risk of being fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
RadarOnline reports that, while Lisa might not stay on the show forever, she certainly won't be fired.
"If Lisa does decide to leave the show," a production insider explains. "It will be on her own terms."
So she might quit, but that's the only way that she'd leave the show.
"Lisa would never, ever be fired from Housewives," the production source affirms.
"If she leaves," the insider reiterates. "It is 100 percent by choice."
According to RadarOnline, don't expect Lisa Vanderpump to vanish from your television screens any time soon.
She is reportedly considering leaving Real Housewives.
But even if she does that, she would remain on her spin-off series, Vanderpump Rules.
Lisa is also said to have other projects in the works at Bravo.
The only thing that she's considering quitting is RHOBH.
"She got what she wanted out of it," the production source explains.
"Which was," the insider clarifies. "A huge platform to create some real change in the world."
Lisa is a devoted animal rights activist who focuses upon the well-being of dogs in particular.
Much of her work, the source notes, has been toward "saving those poor dogs from being slaughtered."
"And," the insider continues. "Her worldwide campaign Stop Yulin Forever will always be Lisa’s legacy."
The Yulin Dog Festival is a Chinese festival dating back to 2009. It involves a mass slaughter of dogs.
Part of the reason that Lisa Vanderpump is reportedly considering leaving the show is conflict with other Housewives.
She doesn't seem interested in spending time with them, and this has really rubbed them the wrong way.
She even skipped out on Camille Grammer's wedding to David C. Meyer, which was in Hawaii.
Now, not everyone is down for a destination wedding.
But then, over the weekend, she never showed up for Kyle Richards' Halloween bash.
Ghosting may sound like it fits the spirit of the Halloween season, but it's actually rude.
Now, here is where we disagree with RadarOnline, because they say that a huge factor has been Dorit.
Dorit Kemsley very famously adopted a dog named Lucy from Vanderpump Pets.
When that dog ended up in an animal shelter, rumors arose that Lisa was furious.
Except that Lisa explained herself, to TMZ, that this was not Dorit's doing.
What actually happened, she says, is that the dog nipped Dorit's baby so she re-homed the dog with a trusted friend.
It was that friend, Lisa says, who betrayed Dorit's trust and abandoned the dog at a shelter.
Fortunately, Lucy was chipped, like all Vanderpump Pets. That could have been a lot worse.
Lisa says that she has not beef with Dorit over that, and we're inclined to believe her.
What may be happening is that she's grieving her brother's death.
If you've ever lost a sibling, especially very suddenly, you know that grief can take many forms.
Real Housewives and the squabbles and drama that go with it may no longer be a priority for her.
