Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are both dating new people who are much, much younger than they are.
While the age differences are a little creepy, it's ultimately a good thing that Scott and Kourtney have found both found someone new to stroke their egos, as that will at least keep them away from each other ... or will it?
For reasons no one quite understands, these two are irresistibly drawn to one another.
In fact, there are times when a Kourtney and Scott reconciliation seems like a foregone conclusion.
Right now, for example, the Kardashian clan is on vacation in Bali, Indonesia -- and Scott decided to tag along.
There's Lord Disick doing what he does best -- luxuriating on his wife's dime while everyone around him puts in a hard day's work.
The trip has made led many to the conclusion that he and Kourtney are back together.
And while that may seem unlikely -- it's certainly not impossible.
There's a reason that the reports of Scott and Kourtney getting back together are so persistent.
Try as they might, these two just can't seem to quit one another.
Under normal circumstances, it might be a good thing that they're considering giving their relationship another go.
Scott and Kourt have three kids together, and they were with each other for over a decade.
But Disick treated the mother of his children horrendously throughout most of their relationship.
Not only did Scott cheat on Kourtney repeatedly, when she eventually kicked him to the curb, he made her the victim of some truly diabolical emotional terrorism.
Basically, Disick tried to drink himself to death, all the while making it clear that he would stop if Kourtney would just give him another chance.
What a guy.
At first, it seemed that Kourtney would be able to resist Scott's attempts to worm his way back into her life, but now we're not so sure.
After all, Kourtney is like her sisters in that she's willing to overlook a lot of horrendous behavior if it will allow her to pursue her dream of creating a traditional nuclear family.
And we regret to inform you that she's been posting inspirational vacation slogans all week.
"Thank you Bali for the happiness and peace," Kourtney wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
By no means is that an indication that she's had some sort of epiphany about her love for Scott -- but it kind of sounds like she's paving the way for a big announcement.
