Flight Gets Diverted After Passenger Just Keeps Doing Pull-Ups

Just when you think you've seen and heard everything...

Just when you think that no airline story can ever top the one about the guy who was caught masturbating under a blanket...

Or the one who was arrested for urinating on a seat...

... you realize that totally bat$hit crazy stuff will somehow continue to go on for as long as people board large metal vehicles that fly hundreds of miles per hour in the air.

Here is the latest example of why some people should maybe not be allowed to ever leave the ground:

On Monday night, an American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Boston was diverted to Kansas City, Missouri after a passenger allegedly refused to stop doing pull-ups using the plane’s overhead bins.

Yup. That's pretty much the extent of his actions.

The guy just kept working his shoulders and hoisting himself up toward the top of the cabin... over and over and over again.

According to other men and women on Flight 2763, the unidentified passenger appeared to be intoxicated (SHOCKING!) when he boarded the plane with a woman and two dogs.

Shortly afterward, he began bizarrely demonstrating his strength and athleticism.

Explained one onlooker to WBZ:

"He was leaning up against where you put the bags overhead and a passenger came by and said ‘What are you going to do, some pull-ups?’ and the guy actually grabbed on to it and started doing some pull ups on the plane in front of everybody."

Well, sure.

His entire manhood had been challenged!

This same passenger told reporters the man ordered alcohol on the flight and grew more belligerent as time wore on.

“He would not sit down

"The flight attendant probably asked him about three or four times to sit down and he refused to sit down and then he really got verbally abusive with her, starting calling her names."

Due to the actions of this dumb A-Hole, the plane - which was carrying 147 passengers and six crew members - was forced to divert to Kansas City.

Read a statement by American Airlines in response:

PHX-BOS diverted to MCI due to an unruly passenger last night. Passenger was removed by law enforcement, and flight re-departed.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests had been made and no charges had been filed.

But what a doofus, right?!?
