Casey Anthony is dating someone new.
She also may be dating someone with a severe mental health problem, but such a diagnosis cannot be verified at this time.
Despite many signs that pointed to her guilt, Anthony was acquitted of murdering her two-year old daughter, Caylee, in 2011.
The little girl went missing in 2008 and was gone for 31 days before her mom reporting her missing.
After a nationwide search, the girl's remains were found in a wooded area under a mile from the Anthony family home.
The subsequent trial was a complete media circus, with at least 40 million people watching the legal events unfold at one point or another, according to Nielsen Research.
Anthony never displayed a great deal of remorse of the child's death and most people out there assume she committed this heinous act...
... but at least one guy out there belives in Anthony's innocence or doesn't really care that she probably killed her infant daughter.
According to People Magazine, Anthony has been living a relatively quiet life in South Florida and has gone on a "handful of dates" over the past couple years.
Now, however, for the first time since she became notorious for her allegedly homicidal actions, Anthony has found a steady boyfriend to call his own.
He's 30 years old and works a "professional job," People writes, with the publication's source adding:
“She’s had trouble finding guys who are interested in her. But he’s a really special guy who can overlook her past.”
Should he, though? Is he aware of what this past actually entails?
Yes, the insider insists.
"He is giving her a clean slate,” says the source.
The insider continues:
“She’s now in her 30s. She’s a different person than she was when she was an emotionally-stunted 21-year-old. He sees what she could be.”
And what she could be is a mother again.
A previous report claimed that Anthony is anxious to start a family, which is a downright terrifying thought.
“For a long time she was like ‘no way,'” the source tells People of Anthony's view on having kids. “But time has changed that and she’s now open to it in a way she hasn’t been before.”
Back in March, Anthony spoke to the Associated Press about her life all these years after the death of little Caylee.
She said she's doing pretty well these days and she doesn't really care what you think about her.
“I don’t give a sh-t about what anyone thinks about me, I never will," Anthony said at the time. "I’m OK with myself, I sleep pretty good at night.”
As for what she's actually up to these days?
Anthony works as a researcher for her private investigator.
She keeps a small circle of friends and is sometimes spotted at restaurants or clubs in Palm Beach County, Florida.
She is not in contact with any family members.
Casey and this unnamed boyfriend do regular things, People writes.
They go to movies. They go to restaurants. They keep a fairly low profile.
“He doesn’t want to live a public life,” says the insider. “For now, he’s happy being anonymous.”
Let's hope he also sleeps with one eye open every night.
